We take great pride in the development of our students. When we see them succeed at the levels they reach it fills us with emmense pride. To hear the impact we have had on there careers is nothing short of amazing.
After knowing Ryan for over 10 years and working closely with him I am very pleased to offer this testimonial. The passion Ryan once played with is now shown in his development of young players.
In the 2021-2022 Season Ryan ran an elite skills session here in Swindon which was a blend of graduating Okanagan Hockey School Players - and Swindon Juniors - the individual development of each player was remarkable with players now playing abroad and at national league level who participated. Although Ryan is based in Leeds - the program was so good that for this year we have expanded the program to two groups ranging in ages from 15-19 and 10-14 - and Ryan provides the practice plans for the coaches to run these sessions.
With Ryan hard work is a prerequisite - however it is with a purpose and the sessions are innovative and up to date with what modern players need to become a success and have a career in the sport. Integrity, respect for others and being a good person are also cornerstones of the coaching process.
I am very pleased and excited for the players to continue this relationship with Ryan this season and for many more seasons to come.
